This is Ridiculous
Leaving people out with a malicious intent is just rude.
When you have a group of friends, why do you always leave out one or two when inviting them places? Is that really fair? Now, if you just didn’t bother inviting them because you knew for sure they had plans, then okay, that is understandable. However, if you said “Oh, I really want to see that movie!” and then the next day, they all went to see it, with the exception of you, because no one ever bothers to text you and ask you if you would like to go. Leaving you eventually find out through alternate sources that they decided they’d go.
Do you know how that makes them feel? That makes them feel unwanted, and possibly angry or upset.
And if it’s only one person in the group that maybe doesn’t like whoever you’re not inviting? Who gives a shit?? That person isn’t the queen of the world; they don’t get to decide for a GROUP.
If you have a problem with the person you consistently choose not to invite, TALK to them about it, instead of leaving them to wonder what the hell they ever did to deserve being left out of things when you’ve all been friends for so long.
And people wonder why I prefer solitude over company 80% of the time…
